     Gloria E. Moses is an oil painter driven by a need for self-expression through her artwork.  Her pieces are often noted for realism, unique luminescent style, elegance and technique.  This look is achieved through a time consuming process of building up the form and glazing several layers of oil paint.  Called "Technique Mixte," this method is in the style of the 15Th century "Old Masters."  Using this process enables Gloria to achieve an intricate level of detail, a greater luminosity and an intense saturation of color, than oil paint alone can produce.
